What Can You Win?
One lucky grand prize winner will receive a trip for two to Munich, Germany. The winner may bring one guest who is at least 21 years old.
- Round-trip coach airfare for two from the major airport nearest the winner's home;
- Three nights in a standard hotel in the greater Munich area (one room, double occupancy), with check-in on November 13 and check-out on November 16;
- Two tickets to a professional football game or watch party in Munich on November 15, as designated by Sam Adams; and
- A $500 gift card for ground transportation and incidentals.
The trip has a maximum approximate retail value of $7,100. If game tickets aren't available, Sam Adams may substitute a $1,600 gift card instead.
Who Can Enter?
The Sam Adams Octoberfest Munich Gameday Experience Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., who are 21 years of age or older as of the date of entry.
Entrants must also have a valid U.S. driver's license or government-issued photo ID.
Employees, officers, directors, contractors and certain other individuals associated with the Sponsor, Administrator, participating companies, alcohol-beverage retailers, distributors, wholesalers and manufacturers are not eligible. Immediate family members and household members of those individuals are also excluded.
Passport Requirements for the Munich Trip
Because the grand prize includes international travel, the winner and guest must each have—or be able to obtain—a valid passport.
The passport must:
- Be valid for travel to Germany.
- Have an expiration date at least six months after the scheduled return date.
- Be available for presentation if requested by the Sponsor.
- Meet applicable travel requirements.
The winner and guest are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary travel documents.
If the winner or guest cannot produce the required valid passport at the time of departure, the prize may be forfeited without alternate compensation.
When Does the Sweepstakes End?
The registration period begins on August 25, 2026, and ends on October 18, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
Entries must be completely submitted and received before the deadline.
The sweepstakes is void outside the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

Once on the entry page, follow the instructions and provide the required information, which includes:
- Full name
- Valid email address

Entrants must read and agree to the Official Rules before submitting the entry.
Entry Limit
There is a maximum of one entry per person, regardless of the entry method used.
Incomplete, illegible, inaccurate or invalid entries may be disqualified. Entries submitted using another person's name, email address or mobile number are not permitted.
Automated entries, mechanically reproduced entries and attempts to obtain additional entries through multiple identities or contact details are prohibited.
When Will the Winner Be Selected?
The Administrator is expected to conduct a random drawing on or about October 19, 2026.
One potential grand prize winner will be selected from all eligible entries received during the registration period.
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
How Will the Winner Be Notified?
The potential winner will initially be contacted by phone and/or email using the information supplied during registration.
The Administrator must be able to reach and speak directly with the selected potential winner within 48 hours of the initial notification attempt.
If the selected entrant cannot be reached, does not meet the eligibility requirements, declines the prize, is unable to travel on the designated dates, or fails to complete the required documentation, the entrant may be disqualified.
An alternate winner may then be selected from the remaining eligible entries, if time permits.
The potential winner must complete and return required prize acceptance documents within the specified deadline. These documents may include an affidavit of eligibility, liability/publicity release and W-9 form.
Important Travel Dates
The Sponsor has designated the following travel schedule:

- Return: November 16, 2026
The winner and guest must be available to travel on the Sponsor-designated dates.
Travel arrangements must be booked and finalized through the Sponsor-designated travel provider at least two weeks before the initial travel date.
What Expenses Are Not Included?
Although the prize includes airfare, hotel accommodations, event tickets or an alternative gift card, and a $500 gift card toward ground transportation and incidentals, several expenses remain the winner's responsibility.
These may include:
- Ground transportation not covered by the provided gift card
- Airport and hotel transfers
- Parking
- Meals
- Gratuities
- Checked baggage fees
- Airline seat assignment fees
- Hotel resort fees
- Travel and departure taxes
- Personal expenses
- Applicable federal, state and local taxes
- Other expenses not specifically listed as part of the prize
The actual value of the trip may vary depending on the winner's departure location and airfare costs.
Taxes and Prize Conditions
The winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes associated with the prize.
A grand prize winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the value of the prize.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot generally be redeemed for cash. The Sponsor may substitute a prize with one of comparable or greater value at its discretion or as otherwise specified in the Official Rules.
Important Travel and Event Restrictions
The winner and guest must comply with all applicable rules and requirements imposed by airlines, hotels, venues, event providers, sports teams and other travel providers.
Travel providers may deny admission or remove individuals who violate their rules or behave in a disruptive, threatening, abusive or inappropriate manner.
The Sponsor is not responsible for travel delays, cancellations, rescheduling, weather events, government restrictions, force majeure events or other circumstances beyond its control.
If a qualifying travel or event experience is delayed, postponed, canceled or otherwise unavailable, compensation or substitution may not be provided except as specifically permitted under the Official Rules.
Privacy and Communications
By entering, participants agree that the Sponsor and participating parties may contact them regarding information related to the sweepstakes.
Participants may also receive information concerning Sponsor products, special events, future sweepstakes, contests, promotions or offers.
Entrants may opt out of future email communications by following the unsubscribe or opt-out instructions provided in the communication.
Information submitted in connection with the sweepstakes may be used in accordance with the Sponsor's privacy policy.
