The sweepstakes is sponsored by American Hometown Media and is open to qualifying legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase does not increase the chances of winning.

The Official Rules state that prizes will be identified with each individual Sweepstakes offering. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and other prize-related expenses.
Before a prize is awarded, the winner must provide the Sponsor with a valid Social Security number or taxpayer identification number.
Prizes cannot be substituted, transferred, assigned, or exchanged for a cash equivalent at the winner's request.
Who Can Enter?
The Halloween Countdown Sweepstakes is open to natural persons who:
- Are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.
- Are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

The sweepstakes is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

- Make sure all information is accurate and valid.
- Submit the entry during the applicable Sweepstakes Period.
The rules state that there is no limit to the number of entries a participant may submit in any individual or all Sweepstakes offered during the overall promotion.
However, American Hometown Media may void entries involving bots, macros, scripts, or other technical or automated entry methods.
Sweepstakes Entry Period
The overall Entry Period begins:
September 1, 2026 at 12:01 AM CDT
and ends:
October 27, 2026 at 11:59 PM CDT
The rules state that multiple Sweepstakes will be offered during this period.
Participants should review the applicable individual Sweepstakes offering for any specific entry requirements and prize information.
How is the Winner Selected?
Winners will be selected through a random drawing from eligible entries collected during the applicable individual Sweepstakes Entry Period.
The drawing will take place approximately six days after the conclusion of each respective Sweepstakes Period at the Sponsor's principal place of business.
American Hometown Media will conduct the drawing, and the Sponsor's decisions and interpretations concerning the Sweepstakes and Official Rules are final and binding.
Winner Notification
The potential winner will be notified by email.
The winner must respond within 72 hours after selection. If the Sponsor cannot contact the winner within that time, the winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected through another random drawing.
A winner may also be disqualified if they:
- Are found to be ineligible.
- Fail to comply with the Official Rules.
- Provide false or inaccurate information.
- Obtain winner status through fraudulent means.
If a winner is disqualified, an alternate winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries.
Once the winner has been notified and accepts the prize, the prize is expected to be sent within 14 days.
If the prize is returned as undeliverable, it will be forfeited and another winner may be selected.
Odds of Winning
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable Sweepstakes Period.

Taxes and Other Expenses
The winner is solely responsible for applicable federal, state, and local taxes and other prize-related expenses.
A valid Social Security number or taxpayer identification number must be provided before the prize can be awarded.
Publicity Rights
Except where prohibited by law, accepting a prize grants the Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the winner's:
- Name
- Photograph
- Voice
- Likeness
for advertising, promotional, and publicity purposes in any media now known or developed in the future, without additional compensation or authorization.
